WHAT ARE THEY?

Foretelling is stating the coming of a future event by any procedure or any source of information. It means to predict, forecast, prophesy, prognosticate or tell beforehand. 

Forthtelling can be described as the spoken word of God. This is when you engage yourself with scriptures from the word of God and you declare them over your situation for a change. There is great power made available when we do this, we unleash the inherent ability in the word as we prophesy over our circumstances and situations.

Ezekiel 37 verse 4 says “Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord”  we see here that Ezekiel prophesied to a seemingly impossible situation and it became possible. You also can direct the word of God against contradictory circumstances, situations and expect a positive outcome.

Psalm 107:20. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.  This scripture depicts a classic example.

Q. Is it Biblical? What does the Bible say about decreeing and declaring affirmations from the scriptures over our lives?
A. As Christians, we know that the Word of God is powerful and living and able to impart life, blessings, and abundance. The Bible teaches in Proverbs 18:21 that, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Job 22:28 expresses it this way, “You will also declare a matter, and it will be established unto you, and the light will shine upon your ways.” Yes, there is certainly Biblical precedent. Heaven responds to God’s Word and when we speak His will for our lives, then we prophetically begin to activate the heavenly realm.

Q. How do we know God’s will for our lives so that we can speak it?
A. His will, His plan, and His purpose for our lives are found in the scriptures. Psalms 138:2b. ……: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.  The word of God is the will of God. God does nothing outside of his word. Psalms 119:89. His word is settled in heaven as His will for us.  The more time you spend studying the Bible, the more you will find life in the pages and verses. Stories and verses you’ve known for years will come off the pages as God pours revelation into your heart and mind. He will teach and impart wisdom unto you as you press into your relationship with Him through study, worship, and prayer.

In the meantime, on this page, we’ve compiled and grouped Bible verses that contain God’s promises to His children. The list is meant to get you started. Prayerfully dig more into the scriptures to do your own study on each topic. Doing so will make you proficient in the things of the spirit and strengthen your spiritual walk.

Q. You may be wondering, how to pray prophetically and how do you know what Bible verses are right for your life.
A. As you continue to spend time in the Word and grow in Him, God will prepare your heart to receive the mysteries of His Word and He’ll use it to direct your life. You’ll find verses that He picks out just for you. When that happens, prophetically pray those scriptures over yourself and/or your situation daily. In addition, below you will find a list of prophetic declarations and prayer points we’ve compiled. Pray them daily over yourself, and prepare for your life to change in positive and miraculous ways. God’s promises were true for the people we find in Bible times AND are true for you today.

DECLARATIONS FOR A NEW BEGINNING!

ISAIAH 43:18-19“Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. 19 “Behold, I will do something new, Now, it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.”

  • As I maintain my covenant walk with God all through the year 2023, while others will be drying up, I will be flourishing, because my case is different! Genesis 47:15-27

DECLARATIONS FOR SUPERNATURAL BREAKTHROUGHS-MY DAYS OF SUPERNATURAL BREAKTHROUGHS ARE HERE!

Luke 5:1-8 NLT. “One day as Jesus was preaching on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, great crowds pressed in on him to listen to the word of God. 2 He noticed two empty boats at the water’s edge, for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets. 3 Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon, its owner, to push it out into the water. So, he sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there. 4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, ‘Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish.’ 5 ‘Master,’ Simon replied, ‘we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. DECLARATIONS FOR GOOD HEALTH-MY DAYS OF TOTAL HEALTH ARE HERE!

Exodus 23:25-26. “You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness. 26 There will be no miscarriages or infertility in your land, and I will give you long, full lives.”

  • By my faith in the finished work of Christ, my health will be fully restored this year! Jeremiah 30:17 / Matthew 9:27-29
  • In 2023, through the revelation of the word, health and vitality will be my testimony! Job 33:21-25
  • Throughout 2023, I will not need any form of medication to stay healthy and strong! Jeremiah 30:17
  • Every medical verdict against my health is turning into testimonies in 2023 Matthew 9:20-22
  • In 2023, since there is no mention of sicknesses and diseases in heaven; sickness and disease are not permitted in my body and in my household! I John 4:17
  • According to Isaiah 33:24; No one will say I am sick in Zion (the church). Since I belong to the church and am also regarded as the church; sickness is not permitted in my life throughout this year.
  • Every generational curse, spell, and enchantment is dropping off of my life this year! Galatians 3:13. Nehemiah 13:2
  • Every spirit of infirmity tormenting my life is cursed right now! Luke 13:11-13
  • I am free from every form of sickness and disease this year! Matthew 8:1-2
  • Whatever does not glorify God in my body is cursed today! I Corinthians 6:20
  • Every age-long problem, trouble, and sin in my life comes to an end right now! Deuteronomy 28:59
  • Every planting of the devil in my body, in terms of sicknesses, diseases, pains, discomforts, and afflictions is rooted out right now! Matthew 15:13
  • As an ambassador of Christ, reconciling the world back to God through soul-winning, I will continue to live a sickness-free life and an affliction-free life in Jesus’ name. John 15:1-2 / Proverbs 13:17
  • As I continue to give to the poor, I will be totally delivered from every affliction of sicknesses and diseases. I will enjoy abundance in the land! Psalm 41:1-3
  • I believe that serving God guarantees longevity, therefore, God will satisfy me with long life! Psalm 91:16

DECLARATIONS FOR FINANCIAL ABUNDANCE-MY DAYS OF FINANCIAL ABUNDANCE ARE HERE

Job 22:21-25 NLT. “21 Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you. 22 Listen to his instructions and store them in your heart. 23 If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored – so clean up your life. 24 If you give up your lust for money and throw your precious gold into the river, 25 the Almighty himself will be your treasure. He will be your precious silver!” 

  • Through my commitment to covenant practice, l WILL be financially free this year! Deuteronomy 8:18/ 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
  • As I maintain a quality covenant walk with God, I will be scaling new heights financially no matter the economy of the land! Psalm 35:27
  • Through the mystery of tithing, I will experience financial increase no matter the financial state of the land! Malachi 3:10-11/ Psalm 37:18-19
  • As I remain committed to kingdom advancement in giving and soul-winning, my financial dominion is established this year! Haggai 1:5-14/ 1 Kings 8:17-18
  • Because of my raw obedience to the law of giving and receiving, money will become the least of my concerns all through 2023! Job 22:21-25/ 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

DECLARATIONS FOR DESTINY MANIFESTATIONS-MY DAYS OF MANIFESTATION ARE NOT OVER!

Romans 8:19-20 NLT. “19 For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. 20 Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse.” 

  • In 2023, I will arise and shine for my light has come and the glory of God has risen upon me. Isaiah 60:1. By the word of God; no darkness is permitted to cover the glory of my destiny.
  • All through 2023, I am positioned as a giver and not a beggar! Proverbs 11:24-25/ Proverbs 28:27
  • In 2023, I have more than enough to readily distribute in meeting the needs of others and advancing the kingdom of God! 1 Timothy 6:17-19/ Matthew 25:31-40
  • As I follow divine guidance, wonders without end will be my experience all through the year 2023 and beyond! Psalm 23:1-6/ Isaiah 48:21
  • As I maintain my covenant walk with God, my showers of blessings will continue to come down! Ezekiel 34:26/ Deuteronomy 28:1-13

  • As I continue to put the word of God to work, my life will no longer be a question mark, but an exclamation mark among men! Matthew 13:54/ Isaiah 60:1-3

DECLARATIONS TO OVERCOME OPPRESSION-THIS IS MY SEASON TO OVERCOME ANY FORM OF OPPRESSION!

Isaiah 63:4 NLT. “For the time has come to avenge my people, to ransom them from their oppressors.” 

  • As a covenant child, God’s vengeance will answer in the camp of my enemies this year! Isaiah 63:4/ Luke 18:7-8/ Psalm 94:1
  • As I continue to make bold declarations, whatever is sitting on any area of my destiny, is unseated this year! Psalm 81:10-14/ Proverbs 18:21
  • As I continue to put the word to work, seemingly impossible barriers are giving way to me! Exodus 14:15/ Psalm 114:3-7
  • As I continue to walk in the fear of the Lord, I will be satisfied in all seasons throughout this year! Psalm 33:18-19/ Psalm 37:18-19
  • Because marriage is a good thing and they that serve the Lord shall not lack any good thing, my marital destiny is settled this year! Proverbs 18:22/ Psalm 34:10
  • As a covenant child of God, every form of a marital problem around my life is finally broken this year! Psalm 68:6/ Numbers 23:23

DECLARATIONS FOR A DESTINY OF CELEBRATION-MY SEASON OF CELEBRATION HAS FINALLY COME!

Jeremiah 30:19. “ And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small

  • This is my year of celebration; jubilation, and thanksgiving. By the word of God; I will never lack reasons to be joyful, praiseful, and thankful.
  • Men and women will gather with me to celebrate this year and beyond in Jesus’ name
  • As I continue to follow God’s leading, only goodness and mercy will be following me all through this year! Psalm 23:6.
  • Through my undying love for God, the kind of turnaround that I have never imagined will begin to take place in my life beginning this year! Psalm 126:1-6/ 1 Corinthians 2:9
  • As I continue to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, I am exempted from all evils in 2023 and beyond! Psalm 91:1-16.
  • As I continue to engage in promoting the kingdom of God through prayers, all my secret tears will be turned to public testimonies this year! Psalm 30:5
